I am a mixed media and collage artist from Kilmarnock working in acrylics and water-based media.

Self-taught, I began painting in 2018, developing my own intuitive and expressive abstract or semi-abstract style. I’m inspired by nature, especially the sea and rock formations of the Ayrshire coast. I am drawn to weathered materials – eroded stone, peeling paint, rust – as well as typography and found marks.  Collage papers are created using gelprinting or collected from vintage ephemera. I love reusing and recycling papers into my work and no piece of paper is safe!

I exhibit in local exhibitions and gallerys, run workshops in gelprinting, collage and abstract painting, accept commissions, and have recently built my dream home studio in the garden.
