Celebrating Our Plein Air Artists

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Plein Air Event at Dumfries House on 16 August. Despite a wee shower or two, it was a wonderful and inspiring day, with members enjoying the opportunity to paint and sketch in the beautiful surroundings of one of Scotland’s finest heritage estates.

The standard of work on display was exceptional, showcasing the talent, creativity and dedication of our club members. From sweeping landscapes to intimate studies of the estate and its gardens, there was a fantastic variety of artwork produced throughout the day.

Well done to everyone who participated and helped make the event such a success. Events like these are a wonderful opportunity to share skills, find inspiration, and enjoy painting together in a truly special setting. We look forward to seeing more of your fantastic work at future club events.
