Awards and Artistic Excellence Mark Opening Weekend

The Art Club Committee were delighted to welcome a large audience to the opening weekend of this year's exhibition. Visitors travelled from across Ayrshire, Glasgow and beyond to view the impressive display of artwork created by our talented members. The exhibition showcased a fantastic selection of paintings and mixed media pieces, reflecting a wide range of styles, subjects and artistic techniques.

As part of the opening celebrations, attendees enjoyed the prize-giving ceremony for the Best Watercolour and Best Seascape awards, recognising the outstanding achievements of participating artists. The event also provided an opportunity for visitors to meet artists, discuss their work and appreciate the creativity and dedication that goes into producing such a high-quality exhibition.

We were particularly pleased to announce that Dundonald Primary School was the winner of the Rita Cotter Schools Competition. The judges were highly impressed by the imagination, skill and enthusiasm demonstrated by the pupils, and we extend our congratulations to everyone involved.

The Committee would like to thank all exhibitors, visitors, sponsors and volunteers for helping to make the opening weekend such a success. We look forward to welcoming many more visitors throughout the remainder of the exhibition.
